The contract type and contract capacity can be changed. A fee of 3,300 yen (including tax) may be charged for changes.

Is construction necessary to change the contract type/plan?

It depends on the power company in your area.

■ Tokyo Electric Power, Kyushu Electric Power, Tohoku Electric Power, and Hokkaido Electric Power Area
construction work is required.
We will replace the ampere breaker (or limiter or contract safety breaker) installed in your home.
If necessary, such as installation or removal of the main switch, the customer will be required to perform construction work.

■ Kansai Electric Power and Chugoku Electric Power Areas
Since there is no ampere breaker installed, construction work by general power transmission and distribution companies is not required.
If you need to install or remove the main switch, you will need to make arrangements with an electrical contractor yourself.
